Abstract:
PURPOSE:To determine the straight advancing direction of a vehicle, in an on-vehicle rader device, to make the mounting angle of the rader device adjustable. CONSTITUTION:A rotating device M2 varies the deflecting angle of the beam emitting direction of a rader device M1. A vehicle speed detecting device M3 detects the vehicle speed of a vehicle. A straight traveling means M4 detects the straight traveling of the vehicle. A continuous roadside object detecting means M5 detects a continuous roadside object present continuously on a roadside. An angle arithmetic means M6 arithmetically operates the angle of the beam emitting direction to the vehicle advancing direction from the relative speeds of the continuous roadside object detected by the rader device having a prescribed deflecting angle at the straight traveling and the detection of the continuous roadside object, and the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detecting device M3. A correcting means M7 corrects the initial set direction so as to be conformed to the vehicle advancing direction.
