PURPOSE: To ensure ceiling space, to lighten the heat load of a clean room, to conserve energy, to prevent dew condensation in the clean room and maintain cleanliness, to diminish an area occupied by an air-conditioning equipment and to reduce running cost.
CONSTITUTION: A multistoried multispan building has columns 1 and beams 2 stretched among these columns on each floor, and floor sections 3 with the beams having the beams in a lower section and non-beam floor slab sections 5 having no beam in a lower section are connected continuously in horizontal planes. An air-conditioning equipment 15 is arranged to extended sections (mechanical shafts 6) extended to the outside of the building from the non-beam floor slab sections 5 while a duct 16 from the air-conditioning equipment is disposed to the ceiling sections of the non-beam floor slab sections.
