Abstract:
PURPOSE:To transmit a change in the relation of height or the like to a display screen as an intuitive and easily understandable message to a user by detecting the relation of height or the like to the position of a pointer by a detecting means and transmitting a control signal to a height control device. CONSTITUTION:When a mouse 6 is moved, information from a displacement variable detector 9 is transmitted to a processor 1 and the pointer 3 on the display screen is moved. When a click button part is depressed, the positional relation of the pointer 3 is inputted to the processor 1. The height relation of the position of the pointer 3 on the display screen on which a contour map is plotted is detected by a height position detector 5 and a control signal is transmitted to a height control device 8 through a control line 5a. The device 8 changes the height of a click 7 based upon the control signal. Thus, a change in the height of a position pointed out by the pointer 3 at present by a user's finger touching the click 7 on the contour map of the display screen can be transmitted to the user so as to be easily understood.
