PURPOSE: To provide an electrophotographic sensitive body using a selected electric charge transferring material which satisfies such electrophotographic characteristics as sensitivity, potential retentivity, potential stability and residual potential with high performance.

CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive layer contg. a bisazo pigment represented by formula I as an electric charge generating material and organopoly-silane consisting of repeating units represented by formula II as an electric charge transferring material is formed on an electric conductive substrate. In the formula I, A is a residue of a coupler, R1 is H, (substd.) alkyl, (substd.) aryl or a (substd.) heterocyclic group and (n) is 0 or 1. In the formula II, each of R2 and R3 is alkyl, aryl or aralkyl and (m) is an integer of 10-1,000.
