PURPOSE: To favorably control the temperature and humidity in a tank, by a method wherein an operational boundary for determining the operating condition of a dehumidifying refrigerator is calculated according to a preset tank temperature, and the operating power of the refrigerator is decreased or increased according to the condition as a preset tank humidity is higher or lower than the operational boundary.
CONSTITUTION: In a constant-temperature constant-humidity tank designated to control temperature and humidity, the operational boundary for the refrigerator for controlling the humidity in that tank is set according to the preset tank temperature. When the preset tank humidity is higher than the operational boundary line, the operating power of the refrigerator is decreased, and when the preset tank humidity is lower than the boundary line, the operating power is increased. Accordingly, the rerigerator is brought into an operating condition utilizing the close correlation between humidity and temperature, so that the temperature and the humidity in the tank can be controlled favorably, and unnecessary operation of the refrigerator can be avoided.
