PURPOSE: To provide a safe apparatus without causing a danger of explosion even when flammbable matter when a refrigerant leaks by structuring a driving circuit of a refrigerating cylce with a non-contact switching circuit.
CONSTITUTION: Electric power is supplied to a microcomputer 1a on the side of an indoor machine through a transformer 2a and a rectifying circuit 3a. By the microcomputer 1a on the side of the indoor machine there are controlled various devices such as an indoor fan motor 5, a drain discharge device 6, an autolouvre motor 7, and an auxiliary motor 8. For driving control devices for the various devices there are used a plurality of small capacity triac 4 (a, g) as small capacity AC power semiconductor switching devices. For driving control devices for a compressor motor 10 there is used an inverter composed of a frequency conversion portion 15, etc., on which a diode module 3c, etc., are mounted. Further, a large capacity triac 9 is disposed on the primary side of each small capacity triac 4 and the diode module 3c. Hereby, even when flammable matter as the refrigerant leaks, a danger of explosion is prevented.
