Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a language information processor with which suitable translated sentences can be clearly distinguished by making these sentences different for each scene when translating Japanese into English. CONSTITUTION: The Japanese sentence is translated into the English sentence and displayed on a display 2, and the scene to use that English sentence is displayed by a pict (such as the graphic of house). In this case, this pict is displayed even when the Japanese sentence is displayed on the display 2. Further, when a cursor button 9 is depressed downward, the pict is changed into the symbol of restaurant (a graphic expressing knife and fork) and 'bathroom' is changed into 'rest room'.
