Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect the speed of a body accurately and highly sensitively regardless of the change in oscillating wavelength by inputting the light from a diffraction grating for forming first and second diffracted light beams into the moving body at the same intersecting angle, and receiving the scattered light. CONSTITUTION:The laser light from a laser diode 1 is converted into the parallel luminous flux through a collimator lens 2. The luminous flux is orthogonally inputted into a diffraction grating 10. The light beams are emitted as + or -primary transmitted diffracted light beams 61 and 62 to second diffraction gratings 71 and 72 at an emitting angle theta. The diffracted light beams 63 and 64 are further inputted into the peripheral part of a lens 73. The light beams are deflected, condensed and overlapped at a body under test 7 at the focal position of the lens 73. The spots of the light beams are formed. At this time, the incident angles of the diffracted light beams 63 and 64 into the focal position are theta. and equal to the emitting angle from the grating 10. In this way, the spot-reflected scattered light of the diffracted light beams 63 and 64 on the body under test is inputted into the lens 73 and received with a light receiving part 9a of a detector through a lens 8. The interference light is efficiently received in this way. Therefore, the detecting sensitivity of a speedometer is improved. The scattered light generated from the body under test 7 is efficiently inputted into the light receiving part without the effect of wavelength fluctuation.
