Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify the configuration and to suppress the generation of noise by eliminating the need for an externally mounted component inputting an external clock and for a signal changeover terminal.
CONSTITUTION: The oscillation circuit is made of a tri-state inverter circuit comprising MOSFETs M1, M2, M6, M7 and a transfer circuit comprising an N-channel MOSFET M4 and a P-channel MOSFET M3 connected between an input and output of the tri-state inverter circuit, the output of the tri-state inverter circuit has a high impedance when an external clock is inputted and a terminal at the output side of the tri-state inverter circuit is used for an input terminal of the external clock signal.
