Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of special correction input processing designation or prevent soiling of document input zone by executing correction input of erroneously recognized input information in an arbitrary position outside the normal input designation zone. CONSTITUTION:When the operator inputs hand writing input of the original placed on the tablet 1 by input pen 1a, into the character input frame zone or outside the character frame zone, the character recognition part 2 recognizes the character, the input zone recognition part 3, recognizes the input zone of the original. The character processing editor 4 receiving such recognition information executes processing of character information. The character information inputted in the character input frame zone is stored in the document buffer 9 corresponding to the character input frame position inputted while the character inputted outside the character frame zone, irrespective of the position of input, replaces the character expressed in the document buffer address register AR4a at the time of input and stored in the document buffer 9, thus enabling correction.
