Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a high input transmission rate even when a pad is worn, by placing a chain diagonally upward in almost an equal direction to a chain stay at a right angle with a crank when the pad is adapted and arranged a push rod horizontally to the side slightly at an acute angle with the crank. CONSTITUTION:A brake is constituted in such a manner that a working point to a push rod 16 of a crank 12, that is, the center of a shaft 17 is provided to the side of a piston 15 by (a) with respect to a straight line A, connecting a bearing supported part of the crank 12 to a main unit, that is, the center of a shaft 13 and a connection part of the crank to a wire 15, that is, the center of a fixture 18, further an angle alpha, formed by the straight line A and the wire 15, is about a right angle and the before said working point is positioned almost on a sliding shaft 0 of a piston 21 when a pad is adapted to a disc plate. As a result, the angle alpha, formed by the straight line A and the wire 15, and angle beta, formed by a line A' in parallel to the straight line A and the sliding shaft of the piston 21, are both maintained to almost at a right angle, and a flat efficiency curve can be obtained.
