Title:
INPUT SUPPORTING DEVICE IN HANDWRITTEN INPUT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0764985
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To accurately match the ends of character and graphics, to reduce erroneous recognition in inputting characters in word processors and to improve the quality of inputting graphics.

CONSTITUTION: A transparent surface sheet 7 is attached on the surface of a tablet plate 2. When the sheet 7 is pressed with the tip of a stylus pen 3, the pressed part of it is attached on the surface of the tablet plate 2 and has a refractive index different from that of the unattached part. By removing it from the tablet plate 2, the contact state can be released. On the back of the tablet plate 2, a back sheet 9 consisting of colored sheets is attached. An operator performs the input on the tablet plate 2 through the surface sheet 7. By the contrast between the attached and unattached part of the surface sheet 7, the locus of the tip of the stylus pen 3 can be easily recognized during the input work.
