PURPOSE: To provide a removing device of packing materials by which production materials are smoothly supplied without apprehensions that materials separated from the packing materials may be scattered in the production process after the packing materials for the production materials have been removed.

CONSTITUTION: An article 1 is sucked and a loose part having a clearance between a packing material and a can cap is formed and cut by a cutter. The articles taken out by cutting the packing material is pulled into a pair of removing rollers 19a, 19b rotating oppositely to each other to remove the packing material and the can cap separated from the packing materials is transferred to a tumbling plate installed at the side of the removing roller so as to decline downward diagonally from the removing rollers. After rolling-down movement to the supply unit of the can cap is prohibitted once by shutter plates 33a, 33b projected to the upper side of tumbling plate, the shutter plates are pulled down by cylinders 34a, 34b to allow the can caps to roll down. And the can caps are transferred to the discharge part F while being supported at both ends of can cap by the side plates.
