PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method for a stainless steel grating with which the wear of a die is reduced.

CONSTITUTION: Both bars are joined by forming plural fitting holes l having circle with a straight-line side (y) which becomes welding edge, arranging plural main bars B in which protruding parts 2 for welding are projectingly formed at both edges in parallel, inserting the cross bars C into the fitting holes 1 having circle of the each main bars B which are aligned in right angles direction and executing projection welding in the contact part of the straight line side (y) of the fitting hole 1 having circle with the cross bars C. The fitting hole l having circle which is formed on the main bar B is a simple shape. The structure of the die with which this hole is punched is simplified because this hole has no projecting part and durability is improved because excessively worn place does not exist.
