Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive device having comparatively simple constitution and capable of executing the time scaling of an input signal. CONSTITUTION: The device has a gated oscillator 41 allowed to be moved or unmoved synchronously with line scanning frequency and capable of generating an oscillation signal of frequency other than the multiple of the line scanning frequency and the phase of an output signal from the oscillator 41 is compared with the phase of a reference signal P by a phase detector 42. When both phases are the same as the result of comparison, the oscillation frequency is correct. When the phases are different from each other, the oscillation frequency is raised/dropped by an integration amplifier 43, a variable capacitance diode 44 and a resonance circuit 45 until the coincidence of the phases. The oscillation signal acts as a READ clock for reading out a video signal written in a memory 10 at a reading speed different from a writing speed.
