PURPOSE: To obtain a method and a device for transmitting earth standard time information to a radio clock directly indicating a correct local time.

CONSTITUTION: Each satellite receives earth standard time information 12 directly from a control transmitter 11 or through the other reference satellite 13.0, and further receives synchronous information 17. If the received local time is not directly related to the time block, in addition to the decoded local time, a corresponding time clock shifting is also taken into consideration. A display means 20 operated by an independent clock circuit 19 is monitored, and if necessary, a time block difference is obtained by a connecting means 23 in the radio clock 18 for accurately correcting the time indication at that time corresponding to the respective time blocks.
