Abstract:
The method involves fixing the end connector rings (20) in supports (12,13). The supports and the rings are fabricated so that the diameter of the rings (20) is slightly smaller than the diameter of the supports (12,13). The rings are heated to expand the ring diameter sufficiently so that they become slightly larger than the supports diameter, so as to be able to insert the rings on the supports. The bushing insulator (1) is then fixed on the supports by adhesive. The surface of the rings are machined with striations to create adhesive seals.
