Abstract:
PURPOSE:To secure a good oxide superconductive wire rod by pouring and charging a melting solution, consisting of an element constituting an oxide superconductor, into a sheath member and, after wire drawing takes place into the desired form having it subjected to heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:Oxides such as Y2O3, BaO, CuO, etc., containing constituent elements Y, Ba, Cu, etc., for an oxide superconductor are mixed, and basically theoretical ratio composition of the element is made so as to become a perovskite type oxide superconductor. This material is heated and melted. As for sheath material, such one that is made of Ag or an Ag alloy is desirable, and a melting solution is poured and charged into this sheath material. With this constitution, an oxide superconductive wire is easily manufacturable.
