Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform a suitable wall flow correction in a short period of time even when the wall flow amount is changed by the change of fuel characteristics.
CONSTITUTION: In the driving condition (S11) for performing feedback control of the air-fuel ratio, the elapsed time TIME1 from when the air-fuel ratio is inverted to the lean from the rich is calculated (S13 to 17 and 22), the interpolation factor (k) in acceleration is set on the basis of time (S23, 24), and then the interpolation factor (k) in deceleration is set (S27, 28). And the wall flow correction factor is calculated by interpolation.
