PURPOSE: To obtain the titled device to automate the positioning work by preventing the core from slipping by a method wherein the core is bound through hinges to a heating pallet by means of two core retainers, each one of which consists in pinching the honeycomb core with claws equipped at the ends of band plate arms placed one on the other and clamped by a fastening ring and yet supported adjustable in the angle made by the two core retainers and in the lengths of said core retaines.

CONSTITUTION: The two core retainers 8 and 8a, each one of which consists in pinching the honeycomb core 3 with the claws 14 equipped at the ends of the two flexible band plate arms 12 and 12a placed one on the other and clamped by the fastening ring 13 at a predetermined position, are provided. The core positioning device 4 is obtained by supporting said core retainers adjustable in the angle made by the two core retainers and in their lengths and then binding said core retainers through the hinge fitting to the heating pallet 1. The device 4 is used for putting and taking the core 3 placed across support rods 2 in and out of an oven 15 during the forming process by heating the under pressur of the honeycomb core 3 and for preventing the position of the core from slipping during the forming process by pressing followed by said forming process in an automatic forming machine.
