Abstract:
PURPOSE:To efficiently supply the white light necessary for human life and to arbitrarily mix light rays so that the light rays of different colors can be obtd. by laminating and disposing a red fluorescent light condenser, green fluorescent light condenser and blue fluorescent light condenser and condensing the sunlight. CONSTITUTION:A wavelength converting and light condensing part is constituted by laminating and disposing the respective light condenser in order of the red fluorescent light condenser, the green fluorescent light condenser and the blue fluorescent light condenser and making external light, for example, sunlight, incident from the red fluorescent light condenser side. The greater part of the respective red, green and blue fluorescent light rays released from the respective fluorescent light condensers are totally reflected repeatedly in the light condensers and arrive at the light condensing waveguides provided in the respective light condensers. The guided red, green and blue fluorescent light rays are mixed in a transmission waveguide. The white light is, therefore, released by the principle of the additive mixing of color light rays from the output end. The light rays of the different colors are obtainable from the output end of the transmission waveguide by providing optical shutters respectively in optical paths for the red, green and blue fluorescent light rays and controlling the opening and closing of the optical shutters.
