Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent positively a double lock state of the first and the second clutches from occurring, by so constituting that engaging operation of the second clutch is made to start based on an estimated value and a measured value of an engine speed after starting of disengaging operation of the first clutch. CONSTITUTION:After suspension of an output of the first clutch engaging signal Q'2, an estimated engine speed V' at a time t2 after the lapse of a fixed period of time is calculated at a cetain reference time t1 based on a variation ratio of a speed obtained from a measured engine speed at a time between times t0-t1 before the reference time. Then, the estimated engine speed V' is compared with the then measured engine speed V for a decision at the time t2 after the lapse of the fixed period of time. The second clutch engaging signal Q'2 becomes is outputted when a difference DELTAV between the speeds V and V' exceeded a given value by repeating the above process periodically, that is, when the enginge speed shows a drastic variation unexpectedly.
