Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve restarting performance and emission characteristic by rapidly reducing residual pressure in a fuel piping after an engine is stopped in relation to a fuel pressure control valve for controlling fuel pressure of an internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: A bypass passage 12 is provided on the seat surface of a seat 10 which abuts on a movable valve body 9 so as to leak residual pressure from the bypass passage 12 to an outlet side fuel passage 13 at the time of valve closing. It is thus possible to improve emission characteristic while improving restarting performance without leaking fuel to an intake pipe through an injector since residual pressure in a fuel piping is eliminated rapidly.
