Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide uncostly manufacture of lubricating oil rfilling devices by connecting the oil pan of engine with a tank for refilling oil through a lubricating oil refilling pipe equipped with a refilling mechanism, which works according to the negative pressure at the suction of the engine. CONSTITUTION:An oil pan 3 of engine 1 is connected with a separate tank 7 for refilling oil through a lubricating oil refilling pipe 10. While the engine 1 is in operation, a refilling mechanism Z shuts this refilling pipe 10 to stop the refilling of the lubricating oil. While the engine 1 is at a standstill, the refilling mechanism Z opens to put the oil pan 3 in communication with the tank 7, and refilling is made until the oil surface in the oil pan 3 attains the standard level. Thus manufacturing cost of lubricating oil refilling devices can be suppressed.
