PURPOSE: To make it possible to stably separate air bubbles in good efficiency, by holding air bubbles mixed in a high viscosity fluid to a position near to a liquid level over a long time.
CONSTITUTION: A high viscosity fluid containing air bubbles flowed into an outer cylinder 11 from a fluid inlet pipe 14 is upwardly moved in the outer cylinder 11 and flowed along the upper surface of a degassing plate 13 to be flowed into an inner cylinder 12. In this case, because the degassing plate 13 is fixedly attached to the upper end of the inner cylinder 12 horizontally or in a state inclined to the side of the inner cylinder 12 almost horizontally, the high viscosity fluid is slowly advanced along the upper surface of the degassing plate 13 and air bubbles mixed therein are raised to the upper surface of the fluid with the timewise elapse during the advance of the fluid. The fluid flowed into the inner cylinder 12 withdrawn from an outlet pipe 15. Separated air bubbles are collapsed in an air phase part 20 to be exhasted to the outside through the solenoid valve 17 of a degassing pipe 18.
