Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to remove a pole without removing the whole of a salient- pole type rotor by holding a regulating plate, which is formed thickly at the outside and thinly at the inside, with a field pole. CONSTITUTION:A regulating plate 3 having an angle of thetaB/2 is bonded to the surface of a field coil 5. A sector-shaped field core having such an angle of thetaB is secured to a rotor rim 10 via a dovetail 7 and cotters 8, and a supporting fitting 1 is then secured by a supporting bolt 2 to the rim 10 via a threaded hole 16. The remove a field pole, the cotters 8 at both sides of a sector-shaped coil having the angle of thetaB are removed in the rotor, and moved to the outer peripheral side out of a range of a gap G from a stator 9. Thus, a removing gap is produced at the sliding surface between the fitting 1 and the plate 3, thereby enabling to remove axially the field pole.
