Abstract:

PURPOSE: To favorably advance the densitrifying action in the first chamber of an anaerobic filter bed tank even in such a case that the inflow amt. of raw water is little.

CONSTITUTION: An intermittent return means intermittently performing the return of water to be treated to the first chamber N1 of an anaerobic filter bed tank from the second chamber N2 thereof is provided to perform the return of the water to be treated to the first chamber N1 from the second chamber N2 when the inflow of the water to be treated to the first chamber N1 is stopped. At the time of the inflow of the water to be treated to the first chamber N1, the return of the water to be treated to the first chamber N1 from the second chamber N2 is reduced or stopped.
