PURPOSE: To obtain a device having less limitations in a space, and capable of imprinting photographing data on a film from its front surface side.

CONSTITUTION: This data imprinter for the film has a pair of film spools 20 and 24 on feeding and winding sides, a pair of guiding rollers 22 and 23 guiding the film wound on a pair of the film spools 20 and 24 and located on both end parts in the winding direction of the film on a photographic picture, a photographing data imprinting module 31 disposed among either of a pair of the guiding rollers 22 and 23 and the film spools 20 and 24 corresponding to the guiding rollers 22 and 23 and on a surface where the imprinting/guiding roller 23 guiding the film so as to bend emulsion surface outward is opposed to a surface connecting one guiding roller 22 with the imprinting/guiding roller 23, and a light emission control means emitting the data imprinting module 31 when the data imprinting part of the film reaches the imprinting module 31.
