PURPOSE: To provide inexpensive liquid drug packed injector which eliminates the possibility of coring and leakage of liquid drugs and does not substantially cause the problem of elution.
CONSTITUTION: This injector consists of an outside cylinder 1 of a syringe and a liquid drug container 2 slidably inserted therein. The open end side of a liquid drug container 2 is held closed by a rubber plug 3 slidable on the inside surface of the container 2. The rubber plug 3 is provided with a liquid drug passage 31 consisting of an upper closed part and a lower communicating part along the central axis. The closed part is held closed by a circular cylindrical closing body 4. The outside cylinder 1 of the syringe has a communicating means 6 having the liquid drug passage 61 communicating with the internal cavity 13 of a chip 11. The front end of this communicating means 6 is constituted as the rubber plug insertion part 62 and is provided with a rubber plug stopping means 63 adjacently thereto. The closing body is moved to the communicating part 33 by the rubber plug insertion part 62 of the communicating means 6 when the liquid drug container 2 is pushed. The inside of the liquid drug container 2 and the internal cavity 13 of the chip 11 are then communicated via a groove 34 of the communicating part.
