Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a bowling lane which is easily converted to two kinds of bowling structures and easy to install, maintain and operate can be carried out. CONSTITUTION: This bowling lane includes at least one movably mounted gutter 26 extending along a side part 12 of a bowling lane bed 10 from its approach to pin deck. A bowl deflecting rail 32 is mounted along the side part 12 in the gutter 26. This bowl deflecting rail 32 can be moved between the first position in which a bowl moving towards the side part 12 engages with the rail 32 before the bowl leaves the bed 10 and the second position in which a bowl moving towards the side part 12 leaves the bed 10 and enters into the gutter 26. Furthermore, a curtain 100 is installed extendedly between the side part 12 and the gutter 26, and exposed when the rail 32 is in the first position and covered by the gutter 26 when the rail 32 is in the second position.
