Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a rope-shaped belt made of a narrow fabric having an almost circular cross section the inside of which is filled and a rope-shaped belt unit having flat belt parts at both the sides. CONSTITUTION:This rope-shaped belt or rope-shaped belt unit is composed of a narrow fabric 10 made of synthetic fiber weft and warp yarns 6 and 7 and has a structure in which the core yarns 5 are woven into a bag-shaped wave. Further, the bag-shaped wave part 22 is designed so as to have <=0.700 warp yarn density coefficient and this belt or belt unit involves the wave part as the body part 2, a flat belt part 4 and a joint part 3 joining the body part 2 and the flat belt part 4. The flat belt part 4 has a wave in which a part or the whole of the core yarns 5 of the body part 2, together with the warp yarns 6 of the bag-shaped wave part of the body part 2, are crossed with weft yarns and its width is >=2.0 times the width (W) of the body part 2. In addition, the joint part 3 is woven while gradually changing the width and also changing the wave on plural stages so that the wave may be proceeded to that of the body part 2 or the belt part 4.
