Abstract:
PURPOSE:To lessen the quantity of consumed liquid helium and the dew on the outside of an end shaft by reducing the heat penetrating from the end shaft of a rotor to a current lead or a liquid helium supply pipe. CONSTITUTION:A pair of current leads 16 in parallel, which supply currents to a superconductive field coil, are coupled mechanically with each other by a coupling member 23. Hereby, the proof stress to the current lead 16 to the centrifugal force accompanying the rotation of a dynamo-electric machine has improved, and the heat conduction of a current lead supporting structure decreased.
