Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of assembling processes by parallelly forming a plurality of ridges along the circumferential face of a resilient sleeve so as to serve as a sealing part which has a partial form of a contact sealing part. CONSTITUTION:Two ridges 6 and 8 having partially round form which is a partial form of the contact seal of an O-ring are shaped on the external peripheral face of a resilient sleeve 2 as the sealing parts. Those ridges are equally spaced apart from each other. The inner peripheral face of the resilient sleeve 2 functions as the sealing part with respect to a pipe and the part is shaped in the tapered form increasingly reduced in diameter to the left. The own body of the cylindrical resilient sleeve 2, therefore, procures high resistance against a torsional force. Besides, the sealing part having a hoop-like groove thereon makes face contact with the inner face of a joint body 10 so that the resilient sleeve 2 may be fixed precisely in position along the axial line of the joint body 10.
