Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a dead space on the side of a vehicle body and provide a receiving part of large volume by providing a receiving part for articles in proximity to the opposite side to a rear fork, in a vehicle overhangingly supporting a rear wheel with the rear fork. CONSTITUTION:In a scooter type vehicle V, the front end of a swing type power unit P as a rear fork supporting a rear wheel Wr at the rear end overhangingly and rotatably is pivotally supported on the rear part of a center frame F2 with a pivot 5 so as to freely fluctuate up and down. In this case, both ends of a fitting stay 81 L-likely bending a pipe member are fixed on the right side of a rear frame F3, and a receiving part 82 opening the upper face is supported with the fitting stay 81 on the lower edge and the rear edge. This receiving part 82 is provided the rear wheel Wr between and on the opposite side to the power unit P, effectively utilizing a dead space on the right side of the body. This receiving part 82 is constituted to provide a lid 84 on the right side, pivotally supported with a hinge 83 to freely open or close.
