PURPOSE: To change the position where ruled lines of a schedule table are drawn according to data by calculating the number of columns of a document from information at the start time and end time of the table and the number of the characters of its title and drawing longitudinal ruled lines.
CONSTITUTION: Data are read out of the table for inputting data and the schedule name, table start day, and table end day are displayed laterally at the top stage. Then the number of columns of unit date and hour is calculated from (number of columns per unit date and hour)=[(total number of columns)-(number of columns for drawing ruled lines)-(number of columns for displaying titles 1 and 2)]/(total number of date and hour) from state to end of table). the number of columns equivalent to table state date and hour, table end date and hour which are not reached at and date and hour are decreased. All necessary ruled lines except ruled lines between the start and end are drawn and respective data are arranged at necessary position. Table symbols showing the state date and hour and end date and hour of the titles 1 and 2 are displayed and connected to each other by a broken line.
