Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for removing an antiplatelet antibody by binding the antiplatelet antibody with a peptide containing a specific amino acid sequence or an organic compound produced by modifying the peptide, and to provide the antiplatelet antibody adsorbent by immobilizing the peptide or organic compound on a water-insoluble carrier.
CONSTITUTION: The antiplatelet antibody adsorbent is produced by immobilizing on a water-insoluble carrier, at least one kind of polypeptide composed from ≤70 amino acid residues so as to contain a peptide region comprising either of the amino acid sequences of (1) PERAP, (2) RARARA, and (3) RAGTDES.
