PURPOSE: To provide the reproducing device which reduces circuit scale and can deal with a moving vector by receiving and reproducing the high-vision signal of a MUSE system.
CONSTITUTION: A signal to which still picture processing is performed by an inter-frame interpolation circuit 3, LPF circuit 4 and inter-32.4MHz field interpolation circuit 27, and a signal, for which moving image processing is performed by a two-dimensional interpolation circuit 8 and a delay circuit 29, are mixed by a mixing circuit 12 based on a detect signal from a moving detection circuit 11. A 32.4MHz inter-field interpolation circuit 27 executes inter-field interpolation at 32.4MHz by performing sampling frequency conversion from 32.4MHz into 24.3MHz due to linear interpolation processing or zero-order hold processing, and sampling frequency conversion from 48.6MHz to 24.3MHz due to field interpolation at 48.6MHz.
