Title:
CAMERA PROVIDED WITH FOCAL DISTANCE SWITCHING LENS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6024525
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress projection to the front of a camera body which is not being used, and to make a small-sized camera thin in the lens optical axis direction, by providing a focal distance switching lens unit on a camera body so as to be movable between a use position and a non-use position.

CONSTITUTION: A focus switching lens unit 8 is contained in a containing part, and covered with a containing part cover 17. In this state, a regular photographing by only a main lens unit 2 is executed. When an operating lever 20 is turned toward a virtual line position, a shaft 10, lever 11, and a cam 29 are turned, and the cam 29 releases detention of the containing part cover 17 by a detaining member 21 through an interlocking member 31 at the first stage of the turning. As a result, the containing part cover 17 is opened immediately as the virtual line while energizing by a spring 19, and the focal distance switching lens unit 8 is moved to the use position of the virtual line by turning the lever 11. The lens unit 8 is interlocked with turning of the lever 11 in a state that the optical axis is parallel to the optical axis of the main lens unit by an attitude correcting mechanism 13, and at the use position, the optical axes of both the lens unit 2, 8 coincide with each other, by which photographing is executed.
