Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the number of scanning lines and to decrease the software load, by grouping a matrix scanning line, in a keyboard of scanning type.
CONSTITUTION: A scanning line is provided with a means 13 for block designation of scanning lines 15 and scanning line designation in the block. When the key input is detected with the interruption, a processor unit 1 makes scanning at each block to check which key of the block is depressed and which line in the block is concerned. In this case, the keyboard return data can be known by reading the input value of a port B(12) corresponding to the scanning line. Thus, which key on a key matrix is depressed can be known.
