Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable to produce a retainer of high strength, high accuracy and high performance with a low cost by a method wherein a thin band-shaped material, formed with a multitude of window holes, is plied in a spiral shape into a multiple layers and bonded. CONSTITUTION:The radial thickness 3 of a retainer is formed by a method wherein a band-shaped retainer material 4 is laminated into a spiral shape so as to have thickness 3'. The retainer material 4 is formed with a multitude of window holes 2' so that the pitch thereof is increased in proportional to the diameter of winding under a consideration that the diameter is increased in proportion to the number of windings upon winding it into the spiral shape. The pitches of the window holes are determined so that every window holes 2' from the outer periphery to the inner periphery of the retainer laminated into the spiral shape are put one above another correctly when the material is wound and every window holes are communicated with each other perfectly.
