Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device to adjust the tension of a thread which is capable of winding the thread with very small tension.
CONSTITUTION: A thread tension adjusting device 15 to adjust the tension of the thread which is capable of winding the thread from a spool by a thread winding device has a thread tension measuring device 23 and a driven drum 17 which are positioned sequentially in the direction of the thread travel, and the effective circumferential speed is alterable in the same sense as the measured thread tension. In this manner, it is possible to achieve very small thread tensions.
