Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a strand supplier switchable from positive direction strand feed to intermittent strand feed and from the intermittent strand feed to the positive direction strand feed. CONSTITUTION: This supplier is provided with a strand guide element 31 associated with the lower edge 30 of a storage drum 3. It is selectively arranged at a first position for enabling the intermittent strand feed by an electromagnetic setting member 32 and a second position for enabling the positive direction strand feed.
