PURPOSE: To automate the spiral winding of a strip, the contact of the strip with the inner surface of the pipe, the arrangement of the bonding tab parts of the strip in an abutted state and the bonding of bonding strip pieces to the bonding tab parts in the lining execution of the pipe wherein the strip is spirally wound and the adjacent winding side edges of the strip are bonded by the mortise joint like bonding tab parts formed to the side edges of the strip and the bonding strip pieces.
CONSTITUTION: In the lining execution of a pipe P, a send-out roller 3, a strip lateral moving device 10 and a hammer 21 or a press roller are spirally advanced through the pipe in the longitudinal direction thereof. A strip is sent out to the inner surface of the pipe by the roller 3 and laterally moved in the direction packing a spiral lead by the strip lateral moving device 10 while spirally wound and the bonding strip pieces delivered from a reel are driven or pushed in the bonding tab parts of the adjacent winding side edges of the strip by the hammer 21 or the press roller.
