Abstract:
Disclosed are cationic complexes of Tc-99m and ligands having the structure: wherein: R1 is hydrogen or is selected from the group consisting of C1 to C20 alkyl; C3 to C12 cycloalkyl; C7 to C24 aralkyl; C2 to C16 alkyl ethers, thioethers, ketones or esters; C7 to C27 aralkyl ethers; R2 is hydrogen or is a C1 to C4 lower alkyl radical selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, butyl, isobutyl, sec-butyl and tert-butyl.
