Title:
DAISY WHEEL PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS606467
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily perform the detachment of a daisy wheel, by a method wherein a daisy wheel driving motor is supported by a motor support attached to a carrier in a freely revolvable manner and the motor support is rearwardly inclined by releasing a lock mechanism when the daisy wheel is detached.

CONSTITUTION: The exchange of a daisy wheel 11 is performed by such a mechanism that a lock lever 17 is detached from a pin 20 while a lock lever 18 is rearwardly fallen around a screw 21 to release a holding shaft 9 and, subsequently, a manipulation lever 8 is grasped to rearwardly incline a motor support 7. Therefore, a motor 6 is displaced so as to upwardly direct the front part thereof in the side of the daisy wheel 11 and also displaced to a rearward direction separated from a platen 1. A wheel holder 27 is also rearwardly inclined by the rearward inclination of the motor support 7 and slides through the contact with a stopper pin 32 while a spring 29 is allowed to bend while the center part of the wheel 11 is pressed by a press surface 31 to draw off said wheel 11 from a rotary shaft 13 and the wheel 11 is detached by holding a knob part 15. By this method, the daisy wheel can be easily detached in a wide space without contaminating the hand.
