PURPOSE: To reduce power consumption of the whole crushing system, stabilize product quality, and reduce the load on the operator by controlling a split ratio variable device based on the power consumption value of a crushed matter transportation device of a pulverizer and controlling the feed rate to a precrusher based on drive power value of the precrusher or power consumption value of the crushed matter transportation device thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A composite crushing system is constituted by a precrushing system comprising a constant volume feeder 10, precrusher 1, and classifier 2 and a pulverizing system comprising a pulverizer 5 for fine particles classified by the system and a classifier 12. When the crushed matters crushed by the precrusher 1 are classified to fine particles and coarse particles by the classifier 2, a split ratio variable device 3 for splitting part of coarse particles to the side of fine particles is provided in a coarse particle passage of the classifier 2 and the device 3 is controlled so that power consumption value of a transportation device 6 for transporting crushed matters crushed by the pulverizer 5 becomes a specified value. The feed rate to the precrusher 1 is controlled based on the drive power value of the precrusher 1.
