Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an ultrasonic probe which achieves higher inserting performance with the length of a hard part being shortened in substance and excellence in mass producibility.
CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic transducer 10 is made up of a lamination of a piezo-electric element 1, an acoustically matching layer 2 and a rear braking material 3. A surface electrode 21 is formed on both sides of the piezo-electric element 1. An inclined part 6 is built at the tip part of a support member 5 and an end on the opposite side of the support member 5 is fixed on an end face of a shaft 11.
