PURPOSE: To prevent a lid body from being deformed by heating and inner pressure during cooking of rice.
CONSTITUTION: An outer peripheral hollow part 16 and an inner peripheral hollow part 15 are respectively formed on the outer periphery and its inner peripheral side of a lid body 6 covering freely switchably the upper face opening part of a rice-cooker main body and these hollow parts are connected with each other in the neighborhood of a hooking means of the lid body to the rice- cooker main body and the crosssectional area of the connecting part 17 is made larger than the crosssectional area of a part connected with the connected part of the outer peripheral hollow part 16 or the inner peripheral hollow part 15. The strength in the neighborhood of the lid body hooking means is improved thereby to prevent the lid body from being deformed and to improve the quality of appearance.
