PURPOSE: To provide an internal gear pump capable of greatly reducing noise level even under the highest pressure.

CONSTITUTION: An internal gear comprises a hollow gear with teeth arranged internally, a pinion which meshes with the hollow gear, a shaft supporting the pinion, a central housing part 4 and housing intermediate parts 5, 6 on both sides thereof as viewed axially. Support covers 7, 8 for closing a housing internal space at both ends are arranged on both sides of the intermediate parts. An opening extending bow-shaped in peripheral direction is provided in each intermediate part. A web is provided to cover the opening. The web is located at least approximately in that area of the pinion which diametrically oppose the pressure socket.
