Abstract:
PURPOSE:To align a new electrode and a working electrode reliably in a short time in a simple structure by remote control without requiring a complicated tilting driving device and a high-degree control system or a position detecting system. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of guide bars 5 are arranged downward around a new upper electrode 8 in a main body of an upper electrode connecting device 1, and a centering guide 6 is arranged horizontally on the lower end of the guide bars so as to be slidable vertically. Guide pipes 11 are arranged on the upper surface of an electrode holder 12 in positions corresponding to the guide bars, and the guide pipes are formed so that diameters become gradually large toward inlets of the guide bars.
